What makes for a good broadcast – Paulo Coelho’s blog?

Brazilian author Paulo Coelho has had a blog for years. He uses it to collaborate with his readers, asking them to suggest ideas for his books. He encourages them to communicate with him. He even does an occasional broadcast on seesmic, recently announcing the arrival of his latest book.

It’s great. He is thoughtful, personal, far from pompous and just the right length. Is this what a broadcast should sound and look like. Note the wonderful room behind him!
